The ChromePlus coating is a coating applied by laser deposition welding, which consists of a metal matrix with embedded chromium carbides. By using the laser welding process, very thin layers can be applied with a very high level of efficiency. The absolutely non-porous and crack-free layer achieves very good corrosion properties.
